Nidhi is healer and artist focused on collective liberation. Her approach is nature-rooted and creative, flowing through multiple modalities: breath, voice, visualizations, pilates, fascia care, and somatics.
She believes oppressive systems intentionally rupture our relationships to our bodies, and reclaiming embodied power is central to liberation. Her approach centers your intuition and creativity.
Nidhi's journey has included prolonged depressive periods since childhood, including a range of symptoms: panic attacks, graphic nightmares, gut disturbance, exhaustion, and collapsed posture leading to chronic low back and shoulder pain. Through Western mental health, spirituality and creative spaces she kept encountering rigid, control-based practices. Her experience transformed when she shifted to collaboration with her body, bringing together study of the nervous system, anatomy, and influences from a range of practices (witchcraft, yoga, qigong, dance and singing).
Nidhi has twelve years of experience and study in meditation practices, including four years living and working at Buddhist meditation centers in the US. She trained in Hawkins and Simonson modern dance techniques, has a 200-hour breathwork facilitator certification from Breath Liberation Society, classical pilates mat teacher training through Power Pilates, contemporary pilates training at The Floor, and endless curiosity and personal study. Most mornings you can find her singing to her plants or dancing through the kitchen.

Oppressive systems intentionally send our nervous systems into sustained protection states, draining our energy and ability to act from our full wisdom and intuition.
That said, nervous system care is not a formula – each person's body holds a unique, changing energetic landscape. Opening space for curiosity allows you to learn your body’s language and collaborate with your energy. When we are in our bodies, we can channel our energy most effectively in service of collective liberation.

Many of us have habits around disconnecting from intense sensations in our bodies. Emotions are not just in the head, they are experienced throughout the body– as muscle contractions, breath changes, temperature changes, and more. These protection states are meant to be short-term, however if they are activated dramatically and/or frequently, can become patterns in the body. This buildup of stress in the body can have a range of physical manifestations, such as chronic muscle tension/ pain, sleep disruptions, gut disturbance, jaw clenching/ grinding teeth, and more.
Oppression operates on the body by taking advantage of these sustained protection states and building on our unhealed wounds. Sustained protection states drain energy and undermine our ability to take action against oppression.
Learning how to steward our energy through decolonized nervous system care tools is essential to sustaining through anti-oppression work and ensuring we are not replicating the same harms in our relationships or organizations.
